The Beloved has tied you up in love knots

and will not let you go

until you grow into the Father.

 

She must play a divine disinterest

until that old Father, and his passionless loves

has been destroyed

by the unbound son of Her being.

 

When you have slain that monster,

She will take you to Her wedding bed,

and you shall enter the delightful hall

of this love the world forbids.

 

Even though your bonds are tight,

grow into that crown

that She has placed upon your head in secret,

and let not this love you feel

make a sin of your journey into Her.
