Dear Friends,

I seem to be always a day late and holding only my hands for an

offering. But I did want to share which music has been fun for me,

and isn't it funny how we like to saunter on alongside our friends

and compare music notes. So, here are a few that move me - Again,

obviously kinda likely weird and mazieish -

1) the musical renditions of Rumi, Lalla and Hafiz poems by Coleman

Barks and Robert Bly.

2) Old bhajans sung by Mirabai from India, ala YYS

3) Pachabel's Canon and Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata and Handel's

Water Music

4) Peter Gabriel's world-sound music, especially first honed in on

from "So"

5) Gregorian Chants

6) Enya and Clannad and, and, anything I guess Celtish sounding

(why I even like to hear Frank McCourt talk!) I like Irish sounds!

7) Judy Collins and Joan Baez

8) Tibetan chanting and Hindi chanting, and,

about a thousand more, from Marty Robbins to the Sufi, David Azad. I

recall a song called "The Master's Call" from MR that jazzed me as a

child, and another called "The Red Hills of Utah."

Also, I must mention that I like listening to the program that James

Bean does at his radio show at wisdommedia, Spiritual Awakening.

De-droning has begun.....now

(almost) Mazie
