Hello List,

Just arrived back a few days ago from a skiing trip. Had a wonderful

time. Just thought I'd drop you a few of my new poems, and exclude a

few of the inappropriate ones.. {haha} Enjoy, and have a wonderful

day.

Love, Lynette

Amongst the lilies fields so near

I caught a glimpse anew

Of shining, shimmering specks of love

Displayed in drops of dew

I bend and drink

My lips to feel

The heavenly taste of you.

The Love Affair

My breath stops

At the sight

One touch

And I am sold

Fingers trail

Along your flesh

A tingling begun

A desire to fill

Quenched with quill

I am heightened

My blessed friend

Of paper and pen.

Lazy Days

I stretch and yawn

Upon the lawn

Lay naked in the grass

Butterflies team

And branches lean

And clouds, they float on pass.

As Children Know

As children know

And we forget

We never grow old

As time flows

And life begets

As children know

Days come and go

Youth pays a debt

We never grow old

Souls are sold

Age is a threat

As children know

The mirror bold

Our appetite whet

We never grow old

Dont regret

Its better yet

As children know

We never grow old.

Afternoon Tea

The cup

Placed pristinely

Against the saucer.

Carefully etched

With tulips and pears.

Gentle clatter

Of porcelain

Meeting porcelain.

The two together

Vastly different,

In form

In function,

But meeting

For an eternity

As a pair.

The Phantom Love

The non-existent touch of invisible hand

Sought in the darkness of never land

I dream of this, and seek of that

Unveil the mask, unshed the hat

Bow low to the phantom

Hold tight to the reigns

Love never knows a moment

Held totally in vain.

Riddled with Ideas

There is a creature within me

That is more purely me

Than this that we see

No words are behind my eyes

In silent retrospect

I pencil my thoughts

But am no more my words,

Thoughts, or ideas

Than the pencil I hold.

All I thought I knew

Was wasted on old

Given to no one

The words dissolve

Into the abyss of forgetfulness

Where only I remain

Silent of words

And no longer alone.
