Guest guest
Contemplation's on the workbook lessons of A Course In Miracles. Lesson 2. On this page of consciousness I have given everything I see, all the meaning that it has for me. Room, window, street. Sun and moon, cosmos of perception, bodies and buttons, divided and named out of existence, and into the structures of a mind laden with learned assumptions. You also arrive and depart, labeled with an identity ripped from the past. Your meaning unseen in the naming. A conceptual glance fragments the all and is torn from truth. Mind has wandered into a library to become a recluse among the books of the known. The pages turn and each is marked by the print of judgment. Meaning to know we lose the vision to see. When a thing is observed it is one with the seer, or not at all. What we envision to be a rose, is no longer its truth but the condemnation of its truth. Even a thought of ‘flower’ is too much a burden of thought upon reality. The created world cannot hold together this way without appearing before us as a montage of mistaken tokens of perception. What do you see before you? There can be no answer but God and there is no meaning in other. love eric Copyright 2002. Eric Ashford.
