Guest guest
Contemplation's on the workbook lessons of A Course In Miracles. Lesson 7 The light of stars is ancient even before it reaches our sky. Sometimes the star no longer exists. We see something from the past that is not there. Yesterdays bed is empty tomorrow the graves may be full. Love is the desire of now. Time is not a road that leads anywhere but is a space to remember this moment in. Do not look at a past experience and name it truth. When you see only the present you will see Love in every particle and it is here. _________________ Lesson 8. We are preoccupied by the past. This digest of thought becomes the food of our present visibility. A vacant absorption of reminiscences that anticipates reality and makes of the world a tasteless dish. We think, only when we remember self and not the past. When not in this present instant you are in the middle of nowhere. Your being is both first and last, time past, is a middle ground for the flowers of delusion. The mind is a crowd of ghosts whose blank faces have no meaning in this moment, and this moment is all there is. What is thought to be thinking, is a mirage we circle around and around. Even the one who circles, is a figment of this dream. Like this, you are not your thought but a hostage to thoughts. Real thought is a sunrise that has never risen before. It does not declare itself next, or prior to anything. It is self existent, and free of any association. Remembering God is not a past engagement. This recollection is the Light of present awareness, and that's how you see in the dark. love eric Copyright 2002. Eric Ashford.
