Guest guest
The Lying Bastards {Two thousand Years} I feel a passion for the truth An anxious rising in my soul Screaming, "Let it be known" We have been royally duped!! Two Thousand Years! Would sweet Christ Turn in his grave At all the things said And done in his name. No different than the buddha's Was the message told No different than gurus His path to unfold. No different was the message But what would we hear? A lie of such magnitude That lasted two thousand years! The church of Christ It's origins found Buried so deep In caverns underground. Released and returned To man, in its rightness Oh My God, Hebrew Texts! In the hands of self-righteous! Who holds the documents That would shake the faith The controlling vatican Still domineering our fate. And why all the hush? That has lasted for years. Why the secrecy? What do they fear? For in their hands Lie simple truths Of life and religion In times of abuse. For no one can question The integrity of time The facts of a nation The life lived sublime. It's all right there In ancient texts of truth That discredit the lies Brainwashed into me and you. Lynette For more information, read The Dead Sea Scrolls Deception by Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh. It is a well documented book on the discovery on the Dead Sea Scrolls, Where they went, how they got there, the controversy that has been sufficiently hushed by prominent people for years. And why so very little of it actually has been published for viewing, and why the rest remains a mystery. Hard reading, but well worth it. Also research the Nag Hammadi Library, here online, it has several of the lost books of the disciples and apostles that were never allowed in the Bible. I feel that one should always know why they believe what they believe. One should always know where that belief came from. One should not blindly follow the path of another, but have their eyes wide open for potholes. ps. Of course I realize this is not a Christian list persay, but I think that alot of us have Christian background. It is interesting to me to discover the origins of that upbringing.
