The wise remain utterly contented with what they have, their own nature, and where they are, in their own Self, and see the bait of higher wisdom and knowledge (to be given by someone else) as a mirage without any foundation what so ever. Sri Ramana used to say that Reality must always be Real. It cannot be more Real at some time in the future. True nonduality is simply the state of Self. It is not in conflict with one's body, mind, and humanity or with the world as it appears. The Self-Realized Sage sees no difference anywhere seeing everything emanating from his own Heart. His compassion is of the nature of a perpetual love embrace. He is truly Sahaj or natural. When Ramana Maharshi heard that Mahatma Gandhi had been shot, even though they had never met, tears started running from Sri Ramana's eyes and he started speaking of Gandhiji.
