If you want a path to Love,

go straight through the heart.

There are some that feel the need

to linger at various stations,

as if it were important to be on the right track.

I am not saying this is useful or not.

However, if you are in a hurry,

demand of God

that it thunder through you,

and be its tunnel of love.

 

You can waste a lot of time

drawing maps on the path.

If you are given a chart to follow,

remember it is someone else's idea

of what you look like.

How would they know?

No one is quite like you.

 

If you want to kill yourself quickly

you don't stick a dagger in your foot or arm,

Do you?

This is why Jesus is depicted with a bleeding heart.

Its not because it bleeds for you.

Why should he care about your foolishness?

He is showing you what you must do.

You must rip your heart to shreds

to be utterly vulnerable

to this Love.

You must be empty enough

for Love to pass through you.
