Guest guest
The Way Of The Heart There is an ice glacier hard packed and confining like a prison around the window of vision. It is as solid as substance. A shield of dead water. A dead sea of apathy and inattention that nothing can melt but a gentle and persistent pressure from within. We have to start pushing against this inertia to get that water moving again. Once the pack ice starts to shift a little, another hand will appear in your very heart to pump warm awareness against that cold wall. For a lifetime that wall has been solidifying as our learned ways of seeing, our false concepts. These our separations from the inner light, that have been covered over by fearful ice particles, to form structures of defense. A tissue of scars to protect our inner child from pain. An ice barrier around the heart of being, that can only be broken down by awareness and surrender to the Love that is us. We are caretakers of tenderness. We must endeavor to plant within us, a new seed to grow within that walled garden of our isolated heart-essence. First to be aware, that this heart, is not a heart in time and distance. It is not a place. For we are eternal consciousness, and the only place we truly exist is in awakened Love sentience. Yet this physicality of us, is the substance of spirit also. It is a similitude and imprint of spiritual realities. Thus the physical heart is conscious of the divine. More conscious than the mind. For the mind we have come to think of as us, is but a distorted mirror of reality. The heart, though in-cased by false bastions of anxious doubt, and misperception is invulnerable for it is totally vulnerable. In its being, it is utterly pure and untouched by the shell of ice that has formed about it. The heart is a threshold. A window and doorway to that you, that is beyond the description of words like ‘I’ and ‘You.’ It is the eye that sees itself. The ear that hears all, and the mouth of God. There is nothing complicated about God, about Love, about the Heart. Be simple at all times. The head will fight you in your journey into this heart. For the intellect is a willing tool of that ego construct that has become your shadow. Do not struggle with the head. Pay it only the attention it deserves, but keep ever centered upon the heart. This is where Love abides, so abide in that. Be in remembrance. Remember God in yourself. In the heart of you. This attention, will first begin to move and breakdown the thick frost of our ice jail, then all that we will need to do, is hold that awareness within us. Like a bee, keep returning for that honey. Do not make forgetfulness a sin, just relax and return to the center. Each time we return, the heart will grow warmer and heavier, it will have the gravity of a star within us. It will feel like a precious child that stirs within our being. Return to that cradle of ourselves, and love all that is discovered there. A human, must be born of his and herself. Born again. This was how Mary gave birth to Jesus. This is how the self gives birth to the Christ Self. This is the pregnancy of love in all things. A sweet becoming of God realization. Soon the impulse of the divine will be rooted there in our awareness. The sap of an energy so sweet and persistent will begin to push away all obstructions to it. The walls will come tumbling down, the ice will disintegrate, and the water will flow. We will flow not in or out, but in all directions, within a temperate sea of longing and love. This impulsion is our divine awakening. We will have knocked upon our door, and soon there will be no more ‘door’ to knock upon. We will have arrived on the path of Love. Now there is no more effort. No more path, but repose within the heart. I cannot tell you more of this. For what each of you, who take this path will discover, is your own true natures. That nature is beyond this writers talent to describe to you in symbols and images. The gift awaits you, and it is only for you. I but recommend you to the One Heart of Being.
