Guest guest
One Fine Day One fine day, love catches you by your tail, and jumps on your back laughing. You howl. You scratch yourself, as if you had a divine flea biting your thick hide, but there is no cure for this itch, and so you lay down and pant and though you are wretched with longing, you keep calling for more love bites. One fine day, an angel of awareness opens her market stall in your city. She has beautiful treasures sold for free. And insists that you take all her wares away with you, to give to the beggars. You whine about the cost of each gem. You haggle for a good price to place on them. You barter for a special favor, but nothing moves her but your poverty. She steals your heart, and you must go find it in an others, by giving her treasures away. One fine day, your Mother says: lets do all this again. This is a good day. The best day of my life in you. A good day to make love, to die to be born again in me. Your answer comes out of you like an alien river that you ride upon. So thick coated with a remembered familiarity, that it is a strangers voice, yet only yours. You don't know who is speaking anymore, and you begin to flow in God and words like ‘sink’ or swim’ mean nothing anymore. love eric Copyright 2002. Eric Ashford.
