Guest guest
This love talk, is a gorgeous butterfly in my heart that I can’t hold on to. It jumps into my mouth and colors words with fiery wings. I am drinking this wine as if it were the last bottle in the world, and the vineyards had turned to dust. I cannot savor it, it must pass through I and you and be fermented elsewhere. The Beloved is drinking to, and needs our souls for distillation. I am a skull and a hank of hair babbling about the ocean. Please don’t look at this form, that arrives as a man. I am a part of a Goddess that hunts us down one by one to be Her skin for a moment. This fairground attraction of flesh is really a pet dragon that you bought to slay yourself. Keep feeding bits of me to it, and I will keep it hungry for you. This is our covenant in the world. To marry in the dragon until it disappears like a butterfly in our Word. love eric Copyright 2002. Eric Ashford.
