Guest guest
Now begins the rippling out, the center sigh too deep, too deep to be contained in the tiny cup of a heart, a tiny heart-bud cup like me. Waves wash away and back again from deep inside an ocean, this Heart. Lotus-heartbud unfurls fully, ocean motions move so fluidly, the tide. The lift and loft, the sublime soar, the roar! the plunge inside again, silence. Somewhere in the center of a heart-storm the Eye of Love is Opened Up. Seeing every face and form as You, the swirled masses are dancing now, one whirled blending of sparks of Life, Laughter Laughing, Love Loving Love. What good fortune held my hand and said "How do you do? May I come in for a Moment?" And I said yes. Dear God of Love! I said YES! Plunged down now, again, not again, yes, yes again, and the very thought of Him, the storm's rising and I am all flash and zip! A sizzled sound! Centered in the Moment that's presenting an Open Window for leaping out, I know which way the wind's blowing, which direction the Doorway Stands. Opened. So now begins the rippling in again, from the movement of Love's Hands, All this Pool of Light and Flooded moons, Lifts, Pulls, is Stilled in our Love's Throb, quieted by Union. Only that very hazy line moving like silver moonlight across the water, just that last brushing touch of our Souls gliding through your Hearts, then we disappeardisappear while openly singing in the Garden all night. There are some lovers and some mystics who drink enough Wine to see Us. Break into the Wine Cellar, crack the cork on some Love Vintage there. Ripple out along this poem's last notion and be our glint in Loves Eyes. Guest guest
Hello, Mazie I've enjoyed the visual quality of your poems. It is one quality that commands "the guests" attention. In this last poem "The Movements of the Heart", the cadence or repetition of phrases/words, along with the color and "motions" has a enchanting feel. Of course there is so much more as regards content, i.e., love, lovemaking and divineness. Much of which speaks to the spiritually passionate (or would it be passionately spiritual??) comments you made about Life and Love in a post earlier this week...(belatedly noted). Here's a Rumi poem: Three Quatrains 1. Never too many fish in a swift creek, never too much water for fish to live in. No place is too small for lovers, nor can lovers see too much of the world. 2. Let the lover be disgraceful, crazy absentminded. Someone sober will worry about events going badly. Let the lover be. 3. A night full of talking that hurts, my worst held-back secrets: Everthing has to do with loving and not loving. This night will pass. Then we have work to do.
