Mazie, I love your post! It is a marvelous irony that the way we humans can

begin to know the perfection of divine love is by accepting that our own and

other's attempts at love will be imperfect. Then the heart can crack open.

Beloved Vicki,

My heart goes out to you for the great suffering you have to witness

each day in your homeland. But, and there is that crazy, 'but'

everything is Love, how can something be other than it Is? It may

appear as a gross and evil thing, a frightening apparition, yet all

are still, everything, still Beloved and That Love. It is always

going to be in how we 'See' and associate with these things outwardly

that allow for the judgement of good or bad, right or wrong,

suffering or non-suffering, hate, love, sorrow and joy, all of the

opposites. Of course we have our fundamentally natural laws of Love,

we follow, or are supposed to follow as a society of supposedly,

civilized beings who are interested in helping one another to be That

Love, to live in the Heart, to serve the Beloved at each heartbeat

and breath. To help our brothers and sisters mired in suffering, this

is what Love wants to do. To allow everyone to be embraced by the

Mighty Kindness, to be immersed in the HeartLight of Love,

Unuttterable Love and Joy.

I think that if one can just somehow allow the tragic circumstances

to be purified and released through the Heart's Love, then regardless

of what appears to be happpening in the world, the one 'watching' is

unaffected. The great Peace of Self is the only state, and nothing

outward can disturb that. That does not mean to imply that one should

not have infinite compassion and tears of Love for those who are

swept up in this Mighty Drama we call life. I babble all over the

place crying my head off for the sufferers. A real Tammy Faye! So,

what else is there to do but to Love Now and Love as often and as

deeply and in as many ways as we ever possibly can. You have been put

in a place that demands the highest level of attention to the Heart,

for it is your Heart opening to Love which will help bring that same

Love into anyone who might come near you, and to the world at large

and to forever, That Love will grow. You are the world's Salvation in

the Heart my Darling Vicki. Each of us are. And we are only OneHeart.

The Immeasurable Mercy and Infinite Compassion of Beloved is so

heartbreaking. So Heartbreakingly Beautiful. I send you prayers and

such Love my dearest. Be well and know that it is All Love.

Love,

Mazie

Hi Vicki,

It is not a question if there is but the Self, or that Self = God = Love.

What matters is the process of interpretation, with the well known

outcomes, called labels/judgments like love/hate/beauty/ugliness

or adjectives like big/small.

Interpretation is a function of the mind and it can be silent

until having to spring into action.

º

ºwhen people were looking at the twins falling down and

ºseeing other humans in despair jumping from the windows -

ºwhat they felt ? love ?

This is a good point: Self-enquiry is not limited to "who am i?".

When a loved one dies, when seeing suffering around,

where is it when the mind isn't interpreting as such?

º

ºI am serious about my question.

ºPlease believe. I am very serious about.

All life forms behave according to their inborn nature

and yet they are free: even the food instinct of felines

can be "overruled". But this comes at a high price: suffering!

And when it comes to overruling the inborn nature of man,

the amount of suffering met, throughout the ages has grown

despite (sometimes even because of) scientific discoveries.

A teacher like the Buddha could only temporarily 'reverse

the flow' because of his example, and behaving like

a roaming monk.

º

ºBooks and our mails make love sound easy and beautiful.

ºYet kingdom of God is still obscured to many and remained

ºmethaphorical for most of people .

Knowledge by itself is without value: it's the application that matters.

>From canine behavior it can be learned that the the stronger one has

the privilege to give in as a weaker one doesn't impose any danger.

This simple rule applies to human behavior as well: when the strong

ones don't give the proper example, the weak ones will revolt..

For a good reason, Ramana didn't talk much on the subject of 'liberation'

or 'moksha': not because of philosophical topics like "who is to be liberated?"

or "bondage and liberation are but the 2 sides of the same coin" but because

"there is but you and your perception": all perceived suffering comes from the

potential to feel pain. This isn't "transcended" easily and Self-realization

eventually (but not necessarily) 'opens up' the process of transcending...
