Guest guest
Ever seen a documentary about penguins? Or the one about Catabatic winds scouring down? Amazing, those incredible Emperor Penguins! Out of about a zillion jillion other penguins, it seems, out of an endless sea of children in black and white, a mother can distinguish, and then find, her very own! Wha! Whoa Baby! What kind of zeroing in is that? What in God's name could be so deeply imbedded in us, so firmly ingrained in our every heartbeat, that this Knowing, this strange and wonderful, this incredible, All-Seeing Knowing, instructs our Heart to recover and recognize the OneLove Who belongs to Us? God oh God oh God, i really got to give it to God about That One! What a fabulous feat that we are able to do such a thing! To do such a thing! To DO Such a thing! Egads! i am still so agog at all this God-getting stuff! If it gets any better than this is getting to Be, i might just finally go Home, and stay there. Sheesh. Really! So, my Darlings, if this Penguinatic Compulsion is so deeply informing of Love's Own Foundlings, of Love's Own Fantastic Foundlings from Love being Found again and again, what are we to do about having any say in any of This? Nada. Not a nod of "go on by today, and for free," from God. Ha! Not a hand to help us out in all this stuttering-star-Dance. So we lift up, One the Other, into the Hands We hold out, and We cup up the Moment and begin wailing like banshees, shouting a shout of the First punctuation of Birdsong! Cuppled Up in This, This Infinitely Flooding EyeLight Shining, One Word begins to ascend, lifts again from all our Singing. Sheerdom, Sheared Again, Speared Again by Love's Own Blade! Omming Home as That last, sharp Pitch of Atom's Split, We have gathered together as Penguins, and Catabatic winds, and Brothers and Sisters weeping and children laughing-leaping, and wizards spinning silk like a Silky Wizard-Worm whizzing, and little bits of appled-dappled. Winesap wonderment, cupped-up captured, caught in the Web of this Moment as i try to Say i Love You. Ever see a show about the time when the World ate itself up? Time just followed along and began gobbling itself up! We might be another version of that movie, with Love's Glowing-Growing so Full in Us, everything else, and the world, all three worlds, and most likely more, and heaven and hell, and everything and everywhere, they all just get swallowed up in this Light We Are Becoming Now. Just swallowed up in What We Are Becoming right Now. Guest guest
1) when pilots flew over the Falkland Islands some years ago during the tiff betwixt Britain and Argentina, they would pass over large segments of Tierra del Fuego where thousands of Emperor Penguins lived. They (the pilots) were fascinated to observe that if they flew their jets back and forth, the penguins would ALL turn their bodies to watch them go by...little shiny eyes riveted upon their aerial manuevers. Soon, a clever pilot discovered that if you flew directly overhead, the penguins would remain staring, heads tilting up as the plane got closer and closer, and then, when the plane had gone completely over head, topple over backwards. Imagine the sight of some thousands of penguins doing such a Busby Berkely! In a second less amusing note...my most recent goat doe is a cute black and white, curly mo-haired lass...adorable...and has therefore been christened "Trudy Penguin." Her mom is named "Patchouli" but everyone around here who visits her, calls her "Patches" "Patchy" or "Patchhead." She also has black and white markings, as you might guess. Trudy's sire is called "Cyclone," and he is blue gray in color. Ah such sudden Penguinsynchronizations! Namaste Zenbob
