Guest guest
New Hubble images since the camera was improved are even more incredible. Several are available to set as wallpaper in an easy step process, from the wallpaper link. Also a new flash movie of colliding galaxies is good. http://www.hubblesite.org Attachment: (application/octet-stream) cone640.jpg [not stored]

Yes, the new improved touch reminds just that much more how insignificant I am in the context of all of this. Hey! Do you suppose looking at Hubble photos could be a form of Ramana's 'Who Am I?" inquiry? David, you are some stardust writing poetry, and looking not only at the vast expanse of the universe, but backwards into time itself. The relatively small and short-lived human brain makes this possible. Both you and the universe seem equally awesome to me. Invisible microscopic bacteria in the ocean make most of the oxygen we breathe, are they significant? To life they are. If what you are is actually timeless and formless, then the inquiry is significant to whom? Mind-boggling facts can only have an effect if they actually make the incomprehensible somewhat comprehensible. Billions is a number hard to visualise, but there was a presentation that made that so real for me, it is unforgettable. At the Rose Planetarium in NYC, there is a cosmic pathway that covers 13 billion years of cosmic evolution. An average stride covers 75 million years. All of recorded human history is but the width of a single human hair. So what do you suppose Jesus meant when he said even the hairs on your head are numbered by God?Gloria (just asking)
