Recently a dear colleague, a fellow professor, passed away. We have been remembering him fondly. He was always one of the best parts of eating lunch in the faculty dining area. So much laughter and joy, jokes and sharing. At the church services, several hundred people were there. We all wished each other well and knew that our friend who had passed on had left gentle imprints of his smiles in all our hearts. And so it is. Meeting and then parting are the nature of life. We have all known each other many times and in many ways. The time we have, if it can be spent in supporting each other, in friendship and in love, then it is time well spent.
