Guest guest
The silent footfall, nearly so, of my oh so quiet footsteps, barely heard. Nothings out tonight on this misty night, except that white cat running across the street like my shadow running in the starlight, in the streetlight, in the streaking whitelight, the white catlight - Bright Life ripe with possibility. The blue glow of a television. Someone's comforted. We know they are. Not having been turned on, not hot enough with energy yet, not struck like sulpher by God yet, the small window to the Elsewhere in the world so looming larger, satisfies, stupifies, will hypnotize the Heart-Eyes! Do you want those Snake Eyes!? But they're happy and peaceful tonight. Let them be. Let them be tonight, i say to me. Let them all sleep on, rest in the sweet opiate of oblivion to the Life Divine in humankind. We've got forever. And we can even add a day. The fennel came racing down the hill again. And around the bend to greet me! i can only chuckle really low at this. When has anyone or anything ever so gladly, so truly without any form of asking anything of me, greeted me so Kindly, so Joyfully and abandonedly? What Heart was ever more welcomed? What can i say about those mountains? Just so standing still. Yet, when i looked away, i turned my head for just a second, i could swear, i will swear that they started this: They began doing the Royal Redwood Razzmatazz. It was a riot of running rivers, a punctuation of pine pitch, a rumbling roar of an inner Ocean. Grasping greenery so gladly to the Heart, i could have sworn again that they were, they seemed to be swaying in the breeze! That's really something to see. Mountains trying to keep a secret, too exhuberant to hide it! The little clowns, they couldn't keep still, so clowning around and kidding, they were kiding with me, and i'm not kidding! And Oh! My God, that nightsky! That Holy Grail of eyesight, of Heart flight, of Soul-sipping StarLight, Skipping one another for the sheer Delight! Each one emboldened, Emblazoned, so Brazen, they all started gyrating madly, spinning so gladly. What a thing to see! Those Naked Beauties Dancing with One another. It was just more than i could take. The old familiar weak-kneed bending, slowly descending to the earth, the back turning to a jellyfish, and forget the brain! It doesn't work! Standing, Gawking, Gazing, Going under, going down. Who knows how long i sat there. i think it was the frogs, the croaking sounded so like Om. It brought me back again. And the white cat ran past me into the dark still night.
