Guest guest
Gazing over the balcony of this Home of my sister, i see plum, loquat, orange, pomegranate, and grape. What a microcosm of the Macrocosm This All Is! The Heart has this Fruit growing like wild things! It is a Garden of Sweet Delight! Plum and Dove are alighting and scenting the air of my Life, Fragrance falling all around my Heart like Rain that Gives Light as Sustenance. Loquat, the fruit of the East and the Orient, becomes my Body Now. Scented like some Sweet Incense Vase, i am the Holder of Love's Own Scent. Orange and the Intoxication it brings, like no other who has held You, i am so lost in You, foundered on Your Coral Reef. Lost inside your Eyes like some Perfect Hypnotic Drug. Like the bees who come to pollinate the blossom, You enter me and i am All Births of all Beings. Pomegranate petals Rippling Scarlet Like Light Beads, like Blood-jewels, i am so Filled with this Love we Are, i cannot speak except in metaphor. The time we spent in Konya with Mevlana and Shams-i-Tabriz, it has rendered us the FluteSong, with nothing holding back the Sound of Love. The Grapes Are Our heart, crushed by the Beautiful One! We Surrender to this Touch of Bliss-Kissed Joy Pain. Every time We come together the sun bursts apart in Your eyes! i am become the very Pools of Aqua that Flood from You, and i know nothing but this drowning in You, my Darling One! What can i ever do or say to show You what You mean to me? How can i ever show you the Limitless Depth i have entered with You into this Love? Beloved Lover in God's playground of Delight! What Wonderful Language is speaking Us into Disappearing? There is no way to Say This Thing that Holds us, cradles and molds us Inside the Beloved's Own HeartBeat. Dearest Love of my Soul, i Salute Thee. A million million lives again would i endure the lonliness, again and again and again and again, just to be with You, to hold You close, to breath into You for these moments and hours and days and years before us. There is nothing, Nothing that can ever keep this Flame extinguised Now. For we have arrived in the land of Sacred Fire, and We are All-Comsuming Blaze, A Funeral Pyre That Blossoms in Blue and Red and Gold. If these Fruit Tree and Sweet Vine stories ever, can ever convey and say, will say Our Story sweetly enough, let it Be Now my Love of Light and Falling In. For there is only This moment, this Moment We have Now before us. Forever and forever i give Thee my Heart to Be Thy Own. i breathe into Thy Mouth and Thou enter into my soul. i slip into Thy Soul, and We Are One Light Breathing as OneBreath. Glorious giving of God's Own BlissKissing Blossoms, We Are That and More, for We are Now and Always. Beloved Robert, i give Thee my Heart. Take this small Beating bird of my Being, and set it free inside your Own. i so Love You and Love the Beauty of Beloved in You... i am Utterly Blessed to Love, and Be Loved by You, Darling Angel, my Heart. Guest guest
You really need to attribute these things to Rumi, when they belong to Rumi. They are gorgeous and so forth... But like any fair flower grown by a proud gardner, they lose their beauty when plucked and tossed into a vase that is not rightfully theirs! Love... Zenbob BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) - A young Buddhist monk dressed in a saffron yellow robe and wielding an AK-47 took 30 people hostage in Thailand's parliament, but was tackled and arrested an hour later by police posing as reporters. When questioned about his actions, the monk explained that he could no longer tolerate the use of phrases attributed to an obscure persian poet being used in a modern context. Apparently, the word "effulgent" used in a different context than the monk believed was justified constituted "the last straw." Meanwhile, Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee on Wednesday told Indian soldiers confronting Pakistani forces across their border in disputed Kashmir that the time had come for a decisive fight. Although he did not spell out who the fight would be against, he said his visit to frontline troops at a time of high tension between the nuclear-armed foes should be seen as a signal. "This flagrant plagiarism must end, one way or the other!" the Prime Minister reportedly told troops, in obvious reference to the recent use of certain poetic phrases by a non-indian poetess. "It's our 'effulgence', and we're willing and ready to fight for it to the last man!" he proclaimed.
