Dear Gloria,

I am looking at your whirling dervish, interesting that in a previous email you wrote:

>>> You do not leave one place for another. You are always stationary.

The scenes go past you. Even from the ordinary point of view you sit

in your cabin and the ship sails but you do not move. It is the

picture that moves on and away.<<<

I actually just wrote you a naughty email responding to the above, but

somehow it got lost in the hidden dimensions of the cyber world...

maybe I can remember what I wrote. Will try again

Love you,

Wim

Mevlana said: Come out of the circle of time and into the circle of Love.

We came whirlingout of nothingnessscattering stars like dust. The stars

made a circleand in the middlewe dance. The wheel of heaven circles God

like a millIf you grab a spokeit will tear your hand off.Turning and

turningit sundersall attachment. Were that wheel not in loveit would

cryEnough! How long this turning?every atom turns bewilderedBeggars

heart.Ashamed,I circle shame.A ruined water wheelwhichever way I

turnAnd it is only Godcircling Himself.In the music, we find silence;

in the movement, we find stillness.

Sheikh Abdul Azziz was born and educated in the UK and he is a murid

of the Naqshbandi Sufi Master, Hadrat Sheikh Abdullah Sirr Dan al

Jamal. Under his Sheikh’s direction, and with the permission of

Rumi’s descendant, Hazreti Jelaluddin Celebi, Sheikh Abdul Aziz was

guided to the Mevlevi tradition. He had been teaching the Mevlevi

Sufi path in Melbourne for over ten years.
