Guest guest
A gathering of good friends talking quietly outdoors, the banquet being served, a dry rosé with a bite of kebab afterwards, a wink from the one who pours, Hafiz telling some story, Hajji Qavam with his long laugh, a full moon overhead, the infinite mystery of all this love. If someone doesn't want the pleasure of such an openhearted garden, companionship, no, life itself, must be against his rules! 'The Hand of Poetry' Inayat Khan/Coleman Barks Omega publications 1993. Ahh, me, Hafiz, my Love, Hafiz has the Nocturnal Ahhhness of Awe in me. He makes me want to make up words and just say them in some crazy- happy poem about Beloved and Love and Friendship and Fun. Yes, Hafiz. This seemed like such the poem for everyone here. Love, Mazie
