Divine Sparks

A small spark of light,

A smidgeon of unearthly divinity,

Eminates from my heart.

I can blow on it

With every breath

With every thought

With every feeling

And a flame will ignite.

This burning will burn me up.

It will release me from my prison

Of selfish platitudes

And worldly unhappiness.

And I will let it.

Impulses of love arise,

And well up

As bubbles in the ocean of life.

And I follow each one.

I will search forever

Looking for my way

To God.

They are the divine sparks

These visions of otherness

These sparks of love

>From the One we call Beloved

Who put them there.

I feel my heart

Warming in the breathe of love

I feel the love

I understand what it is

To be Divine.

And from my mouth comes a low and earthy sound

Very much like the wind through the trees of Hu.

Love,

susie

Love,

Lovely poem Susie, thanks for sharing!

I thought the last paragraph particularly evocative and lovely.

BTW, did you know that those who practice Eckankar Disciplines assert

that the divine sound is "Hu" rather than "Aum?'"

Just a funny thought. I have always thought that "sound" per se, all

of it, was the Divine Sound.

It's easier to hear God speak that way.

Hugs,

Blessings,

Zenbob
