I'm saying that believing enlightenment will make you any different than you are now is preventing your enlightenment from being known by you. There are many admirable spiritual teachers, but putting the realized into some sort of superclass of beings robs them of their humanity and us of the possiblity of being enlightened ourselves. Practiced humility only further occludes the truth of our being the Self, as does the belief that enlightenment confers automatic sainthood.
