Dear xxxtg,

I can't believe your parents named you that....must of been about the

4th child and they were tired...? ;-@

These gingers grow on the more damp jungly side of the island, as do I.

The torch ginger has leaves that are about 40 feet tall and the flower

averages about 5feet. When they die, they look burnt and black. They

have no smell if you're lucky.

The lay that smell good are plumeria,....there's also white ginger

which smell wonderful but I don't think anyone makes lays from them.

I live on the windward side of the Big Island.
