How grandiose we think we are.

Yet,

not one of us can look

into a solar eclipse

with our naked eyes.

So we timidly pierce a pinhole

into a sheet of paper

for the sun to be reflected onto the ground.

And there,

night and day become one.

A moment of absolute truth,

reduced in size,

for the sake of our eyes.
