Guest guest
"It is very hard to realize one's true state or nature without the grace of the guru. The guru's grace is the same as God's grace because the guru is not different from Him. The guru's grace is beyond words or thoughts. It is like the elephant which wakes up on seeing a lion in its dream. Even as the elephant wakes up at the mere sight of a lion, so too is it certain that the disciple wakes up from the sleep of ignorance into the wakefulness of true knowledge through the guru's benevolent look of grace. Guru's grace is worth more than study and meditation. It is primary, all others are secondary. Guru is God. Guru is Self. The guru comes only to tell you that God is within yourself, dive within and realize God. God and Guru are in truth not different. Just as the prey that has fallen into the jaws of the tiger cannot escape, so those who have come under the glance of the guru's grace will surely be saved and will not be forsaken; yet one should follow without fail the path shown by the guru. God, grace and guru are synonymous and also eternal and immanent." Ramana Maharshi Absolute Consciousness
