Guest guest
Your Blissful Form before me – The very air is saturated with the Moisture of This Love! If any could but taste a Drop of This Nectar, they would give up Everything – All their visions, realizations, All their life and dear relations, All their wisdom proclamations Without the slightest hesitation – In an instant, choicelessly, Just to feel Their breath mingled with Your Breath, their Light with Your Light, Their heart Beating in a chest Upon the Breast Above Your beating Heart, To cry out in, scream out in One shattering ecstatic howl they Never knew they had: "My Love!" "My Love!" They, who imagined they were Free of Love, as if In starving Boast that they are Free of food, Now find the hidden Secret They avoided Claims a Voice that Must be heard. And what will they become At last, should they now fall With us in This? They may sprout wings and Soar with us, spiral Ever down with us, into This depth of molten Love that Immolates what shrinks from Love Until the only thing that Breathes is Just This Love, This Mystery, winging through Infinity, transparent as Simplicity of Spirit forming You and me in some Resplendent Trinity – One Love, Two hearts, Three pennies in a Child-Bride's purse on Easter Sunday, '58 – Beloved, Christ Remembers!
