Bathing in the beingness of being nameless, the blue-bellied one asks for nothing from Love. Asking nothing, doing nothing much, being everything, he sits and waits for flies from the carcass of a deer. Eating herbs and seeds from the forest he walks in, the white-tailed one asks nothing from Love, does nothing for It. Running across the roadway to reach a patch of clover, he is struck down by a truck roaring to a fire over the hill. Love lifts this Moment into a deathlessness called 'Death.' Nor am i nor You nor the creatures nor the sun nor sky, for I Am You, and You Are me, and We Are everything and nothing, we are not anything that can ever be seen or heard or tasted or smelled or felt or intuited or thought or imagined or experienced. Who will understand that this Face is my own? Only my True Beloved! I, who have no face, truly. "It's all personal!" Last night I took flight soaring over shoreless seas. Now I plunged deep and, striving for the surface, lungs bursting, I began to breathe! Breathing under water – Yes! And as I realized that I could I only sought sweet water, far from the dry deserts, the hard land of the unforgiving. But then I saw that I could also walk this land in peace -- Yes, I am a citizen of earth and water, empty sky and this unfurling flame of heart, and I was Free, and I am Free, and all of this resides in me – I, who am without residence, I who am forever Free! Jai, Jai, Beloved – You raised these flowers at my feet that I might offer them in love at Yours! LoveAlways, b

You breathe on dirt, and it sails off like a kite. You wash your hands, and the water you throw out shines with gold. You say a line of scripture, and all the dead commentators lift their heads. Your robe brushes a thornbush, and a deep chord of music comes. Whatever you break finds itself more intelligent for being broken. Every second a new being stands in the courtyard of your chest like Adam, without father or mother, but the beginning of many generations to come. I should rhyme that fifty times! The beginning without any inclination to end! But I won't! I close my mouth in hopes you'll open yours. Rumi
