Guest guest
b >>> there is a great taboo against ecstasy in "spiritual" culture, whether it be among the faux-advaitists, the theist judges, or the subtle plane escapists. everyone seems to want to deny the body, before they even inhabit it! LOL!!! of course, this derives from a limited view on what the body actually is -- a subtle but pernicious suspicion, due to faulty programming, that it's some kind of obstacle to Truth, rather than a perfect expression of Divine. <<< Yep. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. When I was a Trappist monk, we used to wear these rough woollen white robes... It made you tickle all over your body, sometimes with predicktable (not a Freudian oops) results. During the very early morning the monks had to flagellate themselves, I did not have to participate in that, as I was still a minor. What grace! Hmm? Despite being a minor I got disgraced otherwise. Predi()tably so? Said that one psychiatrist, "I could've seen it coming, I must have invited it." What a world... eh? Still so miraculously lovely Wim (nothing in front, behind or under my name.) --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
