Guest guest
Good Morning, my Dearest John! Oh John, how delighted i am to see that you came and joined us here at Harsha's place of playtime and laughter and so much more of what sharing and dialoguing can bring about between lovers of the Beloved One. These dear friends here have opened me up to a whole new world of ideas and concepts, although conceptually speaking, we are not here and no one is talking! Ha! Juswt don't have any trepidation, and especially remain fearless when the non-dual police come roaring up for an arrest of your mind! When i first joined this forum some nearly twenty months or so ago, i too felt really intimidated by the language of Advaita Vedanta, and i remained really quiet for a long time. But you know John, it was only my lack of confidence in what i knew to be the truth, as i saw it, that kept me in the background. Before too long, the warmth and comraderie drew me in and i felt so at ease communicating here. There are so many here who are so kind and gentle when one doesn't yet understand the lingo. Wim is a dearheart who will gladly offer his friendship and help in any matters about this Advaita talk, and everyone here gives their ideas, and oh so sweetly offered, regardless of any differences of opinion as to just what nondualism encompasses, and it encompasses everything, everything! Nondualism is a real blast to discuss, especially when one is a fresh slate coming aboard to just be the sharing and caring that Love Is, that Love wants to express through us, and Advaita is all of that. Others might not agree with my crazy views about it, but hey, Sri Ramana was Love itSelf and he talked about this Love in a way that no other has. Later i'll post some more from "Absolute Consciousness" a really great book with Sri Bhagavan's talks and quotes offered so beautifully. It is so good to have you here with all of us, John, and i think you too will come to love and enjoy the many exchanges here. Our Beloved Harshaji is a jewel of a Friend. Guest guest
Hi Dear, dear Mazie, Thank you for your kind and loving words. I have just received the Ribhu Gita from the Sanskrit, as recommended by R.M. and find it fascinating. I began reading from the beginning and discovered that it is like the ocean itself -- anywhere one opens it pure consciousness is found (to mix metaphors). It is fascinating to open to a page, read a line or two, and then open another page, and read lines there and lo, they make a continuity. It is a very holographic work in which every verse or line reflects all the others. Most amazing. I wonder if anyone else has found that to be the case as well. Now it appears to me that Love and Mazie are holographic as well; that is, the Love that Mazie is and the Mazie that Love is are reflected in all other beings as well. If "I" do not exist as a Non-Self separate from Self, than everyone who appears to be "I" is reflected in everyone else. If Sat-Chit-Ananda is the only reality, then "each one" contains all of us, and all of us is truly Self and Love.
