Thank you so much, Eric !

Indeed, you are right ! I note that you use the transliteration

'I'shoa', where I normally employ 'Yeshua'. But that's of no

account. The first time I bacame aware of possible variations in

vowel values was when I made a somewhat foolhardy attempt to learn

hieroglyphics, and marveled at the names of Cleopatra and of numerous

pharaohs. Then I became much involved with Sa'adi Neil's 'Dances of

Universal Peace', though not as a practitioner ! Too stiff in the

joints for that ! But his evocation of the multi-layered Middle

Eastern language structure is so entrancing. I often find myself

reciting, with varying success, the Abwoon d'washmaya... and the

wonderful word 'inana', almost as mantras. Hope I'm not doing wrong

in this; but such things are so very evocative. I have copies of

Sa'adi Neil's small, but illuminating book 'Prayer of the Cosmos'

and, indeed, 'Desert Wisdom'. Your message will result in my

turning to them this very evening.

Is it not passing strange how one can start off, early enough in life,

associating Sufis with dancing dervishes and then, under benign and

positive influences, eventually attain a greater appreciation

altogether which adds a strand of spiritual wealth to one's life.

And that, in turn, cannot be hidden, but needs to be given

expression, even through all the personal inadequacies one presents

to others in daily life.

Ah yes, I am enchanted by all the names of Jesus. My own name is Isa,

Which is the Arabic for that name. We all have a Jesus of our soul that

must be born within us.

Glad you resonated with the Sa'adi Neil work. Oh yes, I have 'Prayer of the

Cosmos' also. In fact it tempted me to write my own Lord's Prayer recently.

So have included it in this post (some will have seen this already), but its still

quite readable. I think it needs expanding and clarifying, so I still consider

it a work in progress. I am not an Aramaic scholar so it is only a transliteration

of the KJV incorporating some contemporary spiritual understandings.

Jesus Spoke. A Lords Prayer

When Jesus spoke his Lords prayer to us,

he was the prayer of God in himself.

He said -

Our Father who is in the heaven of our embodiment,

and is the Christ forever awake in eternity. Be opened!

Meaning the heaven of your Godness you open now,

is the potential for all future openings of creation.

He said -

Holy is Your name.

For the name of God is your holiness.

Your wholeness as you balance the heaven and earth of you.

He said -

Your Kingdom comes out of our agreement.

Meaning your own realm of unity and harmony is called into being

by the birthing of your will to be born in the sprit of the One.

He said -

Your will is done in the great alignment

For it is the will of creation to manifest itself in the heart of intention.

He said -

of earth, as it is in heaven.

Knowing that the divine duality must be brought into balance

in the womb of the soul.

He said -

This moment is our sufficient abundance.

For the bread and wine of existence is this awareness and acceptance.

The harvest of well-being and bounty we bring from rest and presence.

He said -

For we forgive ourselves for the sin of forgetfulness.

Meaning: Stay in the root of your awareness of love, to be loves

remembrance.

He said -

And forgive those who forget.

For what we see as forgetfulness is our own judgment of sin.

He said -

Having misjudged let us not be led by our own delusions,

For the temptation to be righteous while blind to our own need for

vigilance is the death of love in our hearts.

He said -

And by our own compassion shall we be delivered.

For what is brought out as your vision is God realization, or God

condemnation.

He said -

For this I Am is the foundation of truth.

The kingdom you create in your heart, manifests upon earth

and the totality of the All is the content of every atom.

He said -

For we are the shinning of the light of power.

Meaning the light you allow now, is the light of all future possibilities.

He said -

that is our glory forever in You.

For there is only the perfect consciousness of your divinity that shines

from the love that you and all things are.

He said -

And so let it be.

And our amen is a mantra of light that unfolds the cosmos of our truth.

--------

And so we can say in the words of our own Jesus of awareness -

Our Father who is in the heaven of our embodiment,

and is the Christ forever awake in eternity - be opened!

Holy is Your name.

Your Kingdom comes out of our agreement.

Your will is done in the great alignment

of earth, as it is in heaven.

This moment is our sufficient abundance.

For we forgive ourselves for the sin of forgetfulness.

And forgive those who forget.

Having misjudged, let us not be led by our delusions,

and by our own compassion shall we be delivered.

For this I Am is the foundation of truth.

For we are the shinning of the light of power,

that is our glory forever in You.

And so let it be.
