Guest guest
Sitting in a satsangh, listening to that Advaitic rap rapping like some rasping, grating knuckles of sandpaper, against my brain and my mind, i remembered good ol' Daffy, dear Daffy Duck sitting in my pocket. A Pez of a head never said it better! "Do you mind if i tell you a story?" Or so said that duck of distinction, the duck who got me thinking 'bout saying, saying something to someone who said, they said as they sought to teach Truth, "When it all ends"...as IF! Ha! What never began can never be ended. Oh yeah, we're all up-ended, susp-ended between being the One and the many. So many who try to teach everyone, to call themselves guru or teacher, or some such old moniker of their own making, they just flap in the wind like a flag, like a tattered, real battered prayer flag that's flagging in the Real, thinking it's the whole Silky Banner! Someone flag down the Non-dual police! "It" never ends, It never ends, for there's nothing to end! Just This Nothing needing no one to Be Full, Love Loving Love is the Fullness of Emptiness. You might reach some plateau of Unutterable Bliss, but there's This, This Kiss of Ever-New Joy, well, that sounds like Something or Someone, Who just never ends! Ahhh, "That" never ends! How could It, well, could It? Huh? Hear That Laugh of the Jnaaa-ni and the Bhaaa-kti, both breaking up in Mirthful Merriment, Bleating at the beating that Advaita's taking as They do the same Dance of the Tcha-Cha? Dear ol' San saw them ripping up the same rug, Rapping the same Rap of the One Hand that Claps. We Clap for the Happy-Headed One, but really, He's Headless, yet Grinning, Smiling like some Cosmic Cheshire Cat caught with the proverbial canary in His Yap. Yep, It never ends, even if those psuedo-aware ones, those suited up in self-imaged Satsangh instructor roles, the faux-informed ones as to what Is and is not. Neti, Neti, and It sure ain't that, even if these supposed Knowing ones say so. Say it ain't so, c'mon Baby, say it ain't so. i still say, "No!" No. Do You Know to say "NO"? No to this idea that It ever ends! It Never Ends! So, i guess, i think, i think i'll end this poem, right here, right, right... NOW! Guest guest
Hi Mazie, About a year ago I saw a large book by Jack Kerouac, a compilation really of his buddhist notes and poems... this what you write, the way... the immediacy reminds me of him... No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self.
