Guest guest
I brought back a photo for Mazie from a recent trade show I attended (last week, as I now recall). We have been listening (and still are as I write) to a tape of a group of zen monks chanting the sutras in the japanese-version of the sanskrit originals, sitting in formal position on a concrete floor in a cabin surrounded by snow and fir trees on a mountain in the clouds at 3:30 AM in 1971. It was the first time I had heard this tape since participation in the recorded session from which I acquired this tape. In the photo, I am standing next to a Harley Davidson parked in the booth of some group of food distributors. There were hundreds of such booths, but at the time of the photo I was at this particular booth. There are 4 smiling, happy young female employees of "The Value Leader" crowding onto the motorcycle, and on the poster in the backdrop of the booth there is a larger-than-actual-size box of Corn Dogs. They are smiling. It is a happy moment, inexplicably. I am smiling too, but for no particular reason, except to mention it here, perhaps.
