Guest guest
A Little Game of Mu Let's play a little game, shall we? We can call it: "Just Suppose". For example, just suppose that anything that we now think, or have ever thought, or will ever think has no more substantiality or significance or binding quality or import or seriousness or implication or inherent meaning or ultimate purpose than the automaticity of an eye blink. Then just suppose that this apparent body here, this precious abode of life, is no more or less a transitory phenomenon than a a phantom flash of lightning in a dark imaginary sky, a wobbly bubble on a cartoon stream, a shout unheard in a forgotten forest, a drop of dew in a broiling summer desert, a lonesome love song playing on that radio station that long ago went off the air, or a dream you once had that you just can't quite remember. Now just suppose that our lovely poignant feelings, so seemingly acute, profound, heart-laden, potent, colorful and awesome, wrenching, brave, or tentative, are nothing more than the soft sighs of some celluloid lover on a movie screen in a theater long ago abandoned. Just suppose that all we have learned about anything and everything is an elegant and elaborate story tale, conceived by the same mad humorist who is winking at us right now, conjuring our beliefs and then demolishing them with a one-liner that stops the mind – "MU". And just suppose that who and what and when and why and where we are can never be known -- an incomprehensible mystery within a mystery, flashing in a Mysterious Vastness. And just suppose that, radiating throughout this immensity, is an irresistible pulse of Infinite Love expressing Itself in every form for the sheer Enjoyment of Recognizing Itself anew through the eyes and ears and noses and tongues and touches and hearts and minds and perceptions and lack of all of the above in those very forms of me & you & everything & nothing. This game - such a simple way to play! Now, just suppose it wasn't just a game – just suppose that it was just as true as anything that's true: MU LoveAlways, b
