yet as for the Vulcan Complex the creators of Star Trek's Tuvok are

Had he only dispassionate manners (even voice, expressionless face)

and scapel sharp logic, the Vulcan, the ship's Security Chief would

be a dimensionless, dualistic fellow. He doesn't come alive, become

Whole until he's moonlighting as Meditation teacher and purveyor of

Short-term psychotherapy.

Unfortunately, after some episodes where his Vulcanic "mind melds"

(telepathic communication and unearthing of subconscious, "traumatic"

images) goes awry, the Captain deems the process Unstable.

"Tuvok, you can no longer delve into the subconsciousness of my

crewmembers without my prior persmission!"
