Guest guest
7/13/02 "A Ha!" I'm sitting on the potty (of all places) and suddenly I gasp, "HA!" I was having one of those "A ha!" moments and Ananda heard me and came running in with such joyous fire in her eyes. She was jumping up and down and saying, "What is it? What is it?" I said, "I had a big insight. I had a good thought!" She excitedly said, "Tell me! Tell me!" I said, "Give me a minute. Then we can go tell Daddy together." After the technicalities were attended to she eagerly grabbed my hand and pulled me, running, to her dad. I told her that it was grown up stuff and that I didn't think she would find it interesting, but she was happy to sit with us anyway while we talked about it. When we were done I tackled her and tickled her. I said, "See? Not so interesting for you, huh?" She giggled, saying, "Nope! That's okay!" It was a great moment with all of us just beaming at one another.
Guest guest
Hi, I usually have my "aha" experiences in the shower or while shaving. Something about running water....and cleansing. Sharing is beautiful, especially when it is truly heard. That makes a family, I think -- even if the one listening is a stranger, but it is especially wonderful if it is a child included in the sharing of parents. Indeed, thanks for sharing with us the Self that is sharing you with us.
