Guest guest
What Is The Heart? It is not far to the Heart. A breath can carry you away as well as draw you to the center. In fact, this in and out traveling is what God does just to get your attention. Its what we do to, as we hitch hike through this Universe. However, for many it is a continual running away from a divine vehicle. We get the notion that our car will go by itself but because we are not the driver all that happens is that the wheels spin around and we get nowhere fast. What is the Heart? It is a letting go of personal ownership to Life. What is the hardest thing to do? It is a letting go of personal ownership to Life. What will be the first real thing you do? You will let go of personal ownership to Life. What will be the day of salvation? It will be when you let go of ownership and claim everything to be this Life. It is not far to the Heart. However first, there must be this blossoming. You must give it up like a flower gives itself up to be a bloom. A flower in bloom is not a question. It is a culmination of conflict. It is an answer. It is an open Heart. There is no impulse within it that seeks to drive its being alone. The green shoot has no tightness the bud is broken. The head is an open bowl. It is a giving in, to be the giving of God. What is this It, that must be lost? It is you who think that the mind is personal. It is the delusion that somehow existence can be pinched off into separate mind worlds. That the breath of life is our breathing instead of the All breathing us... What is this vehicle we would keep driving? It is a hobby horse we have made from fear. What is this fear that drives us? It is the thought of a division of Us. This Us, is the plurality of God. It is not a disconnection but a multiple nexus. Like a house with many open windows however, the space is all the same both inside and out. Imagine a lampshade with a myriad tiny holes each one like a star and all the myriad stars all shining in every direction. Yet you would not question that One light alone make each star! Does a star ever try to be separate from the light that makes it? This Us, is the plurality of God. What is the Heart? It is where you disappear and God appears. It is Love. Love is the most attractive thing. In truth it is not a thing but just - Attraction. When we give up self interest for a moment, when we come together to make something happen out of love. What happens? A God thing happens, and we call it Good. When a Buddha sits, he does not sit alone. He sits as the All. When a Jesus walks others follow. Why? Because love has made him attractive. It is never what the masters say that draws us to them It is what they are. A reflection of the Heart. It is never far to the Heart. It is never far to a twilight world also. Twilight occurs when the sun is seen to be near or far away. It is how consciousness breaths when it considers itself a certain point of reference. Yet the source of all breath is the One Heart. The center of an infinite circle. Any other point of departure than this grows dim from clinging to a point on a globe that is only dimly aware of how perfect a circle is. The pivot of a compass never varies, only the point. Without direction from the Heart any bearing will lead to a twilight terminus. The rays of the sun reach out because they never leave the source. Once they feel isolated from the source they become moonshine. Just reflected light. What is the Source? It is the great attraction. It is when the root and the blossom become One. It is when the ground and the sky make love. Creation happens when love opens to love. It is then that the All appears to be All. We have become the tree of Life. And every branch and leaf is an aspect of the root. It is a giving up of the unreal to be just the Source. There is no illusion and reality there is just This. Everything coming from nothing and nothing outside or inside of This. The vehicle returns to the owner. The flower returns to the sky. The breath goes in and out. The sundial is perfectly still. Buddha sits at the center. Jesus looks at you and only sees God. love eric _____________________
