But the trick is that we need to be willing to admit our mistakes and make the changes that honor ourselves and others. It is not important to have been right or to win the argument. It is important to be willing to yield to the truth as it is revealed to us. Only then is being right a reflection of the deeper humility that makes truth a beautiful thing.So then doing the right thing becomes a spiritual mantra. Being right becomes a sacred responsibility.There is everything right about being right as long as it isn't the ego driven power trip that tries to defeat others in order to appear victorious.Words and expressions sometime achieve connotations that contradict their denotative meaning. Trying to be right has the connotation of an ego trip. But really, trying to be right is the most beautiful thing we do. Another way of saying it would be to be in harmony with the truth. Then it sounds so much better.But being right, doing the right thing is one of the benefits of going into the silence and allowing the truth to emerge.
