Low moaning

saying Shiva

to the moon disappearing

behind the clouds,

the beauty is hauntingly,

poignantly so piercing

there is nothing i can do.

Standing stuttering trying to say it

so many times

in so many ways before,

tonight i just let my Heart cave in with it.

i give in.

i give up.

i give everything to this.

Right here, right now, everything is impermanent

and i can hardly bear the Beauty,

and God, O God!

Isn't it so unbearably Beautiful?

O God! Shiva!

ShivAllah

ShivAllah

O God ShivAllah...

Devotion

Dancing before You

That across which

Dancing Dances

That

Dancing

There is no rehearsal

The cameras are rolling

The moon is full

It's Saturday night

Standing still in awe before the church tower

belfry lit with an interior fragrance of light

melting into midnight blue star-pierced sky

We sit by the silent fountain

It is the same place

Never

This easy

Letting go

Let's not stop

Tonight

"Nityananda Maha

Jai Sadguru Bhagavan

Yogananda, Yogananda

Paramahansa Yogananda"

The moon is just over

Your left ear in the trees

Praising

Now

You pass me the cup of Chai

while I sit here writing these words

to you –

It's good!

We pause for a word from the Sponsor:

"Only one's own awareness is direct knowledge and

that is the common experience of one and all.

No aids are needed to know

one's own Self.

Effortless and choiceless awareness is

our real nature.

Men love existence because it is eternal awareness

which is their own Self.

Why not then hold on to pure awareness right now,

while in the body

and be free?

Be yourself and nothing more!" *

To my left you are writing to me,

to your right I write to you.

You inhale fragrances, savor tastes

nobody has a name for.

Dharma resides in a

Tootsie Roll Pop

as comfortably

as can be.

We love existence.

When we stopped trying

to hold on to it,

it eloped with us and

started a new family.

Listen to our precious babies, and

the lullabies afloat upon this breeze,

tonight!
