Searching for the Dharma - Hsu Yun & Mazie

*You've traveled up ten thousand steps in search of the Dharma.

((( Ten thousand lifetimes stepping over the Buddha before he was born,

i and thou have done that and more. We have done more,

so much more my Beloved One, have we done for Love.

*So many long days in the archives, copying, copying.

((( Nights bent over lamps and lights and candle-flame,

we were studying the dharma of the Heart.

The sound of the rain falling all around us and the sound of Light

pouring through the ether to inform us of It's Presence right now.

We listened intently to the Laughter of Hotei before he uttered a word.

Those nights alone with the darkness and the brightness,

they bode us well my Darling.

They brought us to this Abode of Peace where we sit now.

Unencumbered by past life associations that come with high interest,

we put those borrowed likenesses outside of our door.

* The gravity of the Tang and the

profundity of the Sung make heavy baggage.

((( The center of gravity has no beginning nor any end,

and the profound implications in this are too Marvelous to say.

Singing from the Sung dynasty and Tango-ing from the Tang,

we never had time to accumulate any karma worth mentioning.

We outran and outshone the Light leaping from lifetime to lifetime.

We were here before It ever was to inform the world - I Am.

*Here! I've picked you a bunch of wildflowers.

Their meaning is the same

but they're much easier to carry.

((( Here Beloved Mashuq! i've carried this rosebud in my hands

for untold numbers of lives for You to imbibe the Fragrance right Now.

Could this flower be any sweeter if we had just plucked it from God's Own Heart?

Whatever this means means nothing to me this moment.

i only want to carry You to Nirvana, Samadhi and the Place beyond Dawn.

Beloved Darling, isn't this about the easiest sutra we've ever had to memorize?

It's been engraved on my Heart forever as evidence of This Love we Are.
