I'm guessing that you are familiar with Gene's new site Open_Source_Spirit , also on . While the process has yet to begin, he started it with the premise that the verbal concepts that lock us in to a narrow vision can be expanded. I think you're expansion of the "enlightenment" and "realization" experience is one that should be taken up there. Perhaps, if it were, the process that was advertised as the generating impulse to start yet another site will start to be "realized"( in yet another use or that term, heh, heh, heh.). I have some thoughts on the same subject, they may run parallel to yours, or may, in fact. be the same as yours, who knows? I've begun to ponder the notion of a new site myself, as from my point of view, after 3 years of daily lurking/contributing, to a number of spiritual/advaita sites, there is a vast subject, the veritable "invisible Gorilla in the room", which is not being dealt with. More anon. yours in the bonds, eric
Guest guest
Thanks Eric, I am not planning at the moment to participate in more lists, I keep to Harsha's and Adyashanti's Satsanghs, but you are free to copy anywhere what you just quoted. Funny, I always had a strong feeling that the two of us are very close together in understanding... It may just be the habit of the "~Mooshoos and ~Oh Nos" to always come up with "...but look at it from the other side." Remember the story I once wrote of the couple who were ready to buy a new car and that the husband decided that his wife could pick any of the two colours they both loved equally. She picked the metallic burgundy after she threw a coin and when she came home the husband said (a bit gripingly), "Why did you not take the other one, I thought you liked it better?" The moral is we are so used to always come up with the other viewpoint... The wife told me that if she would have come home with the teal colour that he would have said, "I thought you would have chosen the other one..." Anyway, in my previous note to you, I asked you about why "yours in bonds". I genuinely do not know what you mean by that... it has puzzled me for a few years now...
