Dear Harsha,

I agree! :)) I wonder of the whole practice of bowing stems from Kriyas

caused by Kundalini energy. I know that the energy sometimes causes the body

to take certain positions, and one of these is various bowing postures.

Since Kundalini energy seems to require "surrender," perhaps bowing became

symbolic of submission.

When the ego is bowing in the Heart,

where Sad-Guru or God resides as the pure Self, the body likes to

follow naturally sometimes.
