Guest guest Posted September 25, 2002 Report Share Posted September 25, 2002 9/24/02 "Falling in Love at the Corner Store" I was looking over the items on the sale shelf at the corner store when Ananda said to me, "Mommy, even after I am all 'gwown up' I will still want to be with you." Searching for the expiration date on a box of crackers I gave her a casual, "Think so?" "Yes," she replied, "We will fall in 'yove.'" My face broke into a grin as I returned the box to the shelf. Leaning down to meet her I lifted her chin with my fingers and said, "It's too late for that! Do you know when I first fell in love with you?" "When?" she asked. "The very moment I found out you were with me," I told her. "I didn't know THAT," she said, smiling big. Then she took my hand and together we made our way to the checkout.
