Everyone goes to the hell of

someone else's religion. :-)

))) The famous quote goes:

"Hell is other people."

and perhaps there is some truth there --

the belief in separation of self & other

indeed is source of suffering.

All paths go

somewhere. No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights, perceptions,

and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back

into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than

the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of

Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It

is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the

Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of

Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self.

There are many local jokes about these place here in Norway. "Hell"

means "light" in Old Norwegian. And "Gods" means goods, estate,

manor. So these house at a railway station is an inwards/outwards

office.

Once upon a time, when working in the oil sector, there was a "bang"

in the right wing of the airplane I sat in. Some motors suddendly

didn't work. There was smoke in the cabine, and they had to perform

an emergency landing. We were booked into hotels. And at that time, I

spent my night in Hell before continuing my trip the next day. I slept

in Hell!
