I find myself nothing but naught and naught,

O substance that cannot be weighed!

O sea that cannot be sailed!

In You and by You I find

that my substance is nothing,

and above all,

nothing.

)))) Why can't people be clearer?

Is there really need for such obscurity today?

He starts out as if he has something to say,

But then goes on to say nothing!

 

 

We starts out as if there is something

to change, but find out that

it's really nothing.

 

 

When nothing is found,

it might just turn out to be

something.

This may go on for sometime,

until nothing happens.

 

When you become you,

nothing becomes nothing.

 

That's why nothing changes –

it's no big deal.

 

Relax, and

think nothing of it!

 

 

 

 

 

When He Himself reveals Himself,

Brahma brings into manifestation That which

Can never be seen.

As the seed is in the plant,

As the shade is in the tree,

As the void is in the sky,

As infinite forms are in the void –

So from beyond the Infinite,

The Infinite comes;

And from the Infinite the finite extends.

The creature is in Brahma,

And Brahma is in the creature:

They are ever distinct,

Yet ever united.

He Himself is the tree, the seed, and the germ.

He Himself is the flower, the fruit, and the shade.

He Himself is the sun, the light, and the lighted.

He Himself is Brahma, creature, and Maya.

He Himself is the manifold form, the infinite space;

He is the breath, the word, and the meaning.

He Himself is the limit and the limitless:

And beyond both the limited and the limitless is He,

The Pure Being.

He is the Immanent Mind in Brahma and in the creature.

The Supreme Soul is seen within the soul,

The Point is seen within the Supreme Soul,

And within the Point,

The reflection is seen again.

Kabir is blest because he has this supreme vision!

One to Be One.

 

Here, a Blessing

Is not a Blessing.

 

Can I get a Witness?

Kabir –

You Testify!

 

 

 

 

Live neither in the entanglements of outer things,

 

nor in inner feelings of emptiness.

 

Be serene in the oneness of things and such

 

erroneous views will disappear by themselves.

Things are objects because of the subject (mind):

 

the mind (subject) is such because of things (object).

 

Understand the relativity of these two

 

and the basic reality: the unity of emptiness.

 

In this Emptiness the two are indistinguishable

 

and each contains in itself the whole world.

 

If you do not discriminate between coarse and fine

 

you will not be tempted to prejudice and opinion.

))) To deny the objective world

takes a heap of trying.

 

Why not it let see to itself?

 

Discriminate or not, but

do be kind to yourself –

your tender hearts are dear, and

life is precious beyond conception!

 

By such service, all wounds heal.

 

 

 

 

The meadow filled with moonlight one spring night

cleaving my Heart in two

and the song of a peacock calling for its lover

shattered the mirrored twin-mind of

"Who Am I?"

Not knowing a name that was affixed to this body,

Not knowing what place I stood in,

Not knowing the day, or time, or circumstance

That led to my being struck while standing in a meadow

Filled with moonlight,

Not knowing what made the sound,

What was sound, or even

What hearing or thinking were,

The one who would know, could know

anything, the knower,

was simply non-existent.

What remained ended the refrain –

"Who Am I?"

Nothing's fine
