Your cancer is a fraud, why pretend it is otherwise? There is some honesty possible here, but it's up to you to step out of the costume and speak truly, rather than trolling for thrills. Guest guest
Hi Toni, There are many different forms of cancer -- some manifest in the body. The more insidious in the mind. If you are who you say you are, you have made a lurid business out of death, pandering gruesome video "shockumentaries" and toe tags. The site speaks for itself. The message board here is open to inquiry. If you would like to explore death without the gimmicks and voyeuristic "accessories", i am happy to oblige. We won't need any voodoo heads or embalming kits, or films about executions and car wrecks -- just a little honesty, and perhaps a sense of humor wouldn't hurt. LoveAlways, b
Guest guest
All of the sudden I get all these hits with this message linked to it and I have to wonder why I'm getting visitors from some group I have never heard of. It turns out that this same person has posted it other email groups about the site as well. I have software on my website that tells me exactly where the hits are coming from. So I traced back through and saw the comments. I'm not sure what your issues are with the site, but we have been recognized by several organizations, I have donated my time to appear in a hollywood documentary which is coming out next year called Flight from Death. In fact you can confirm my presence in the film by going to flightfromdeath.com and then going through the site to find credits, my name and the fact I am a cancer patient are both listed in the credits. Now if your point is the site is odd, but with a sense of humor I am o.k. with that, but I will NOT have someone accuse me of being a cancer fraud and I expect that they will provide me with an address or fax number so I can fax over documentation to them. This is an extremely serious accusation made towards me on the Internet in a public forum and I am not going to take it lightly. My doctor would be more than willing to speak with a rep from the list as well. People need to think about how their email messages might travel over the Internet before they post AND there are many different software pkgs that will allow you to trace the origin of a site hit. I apologize for coming on the list unexpectedly, but I did want to find out why I ended up on a list I'd never heard of and I'm amazed at what some people think that they are entitled to say about someone they don't know. Guest guest
LIke I said before if you are so sure of yourself give me an address, fax number or phone number so we can clear the air on this matter. You are entitled to your opinion which I find offensive. No one held a gun to your head and told you to go to my website. And HAD you read my website you would have found that 1) 25% of all profits are donated to Breast Cancer Research and 100% of all WTC proceeds were donated to scholarship funds to help the children who lost a parent on 9/11. I strongly suggest you learn to read before you judge. Now that I have said my peace I expect the information I have requested to be submitted to me so that I can Express mail closure on this matter. >Hi Toni, > >There are many different forms of cancer -- >some manifest in the body. > >The more insidious in the mind. > >If you are who you say you are, >you have made a lurid business out of death, >pandering gruesome video "shockumentaries" and toe tags. > >The site speaks for itself. > >The message board here is open to inquiry. > >If you would like to explore death without >the gimmicks and voyeuristic "accessories", >i am happy to oblige. > >We won't need any voodoo heads or embalming kits, >or films about executions and car wrecks -- >just a little honesty, and perhaps a sense of humor >wouldn't hurt. > > >LoveAlways, > >b > > > ></join>http://groups.yaho >o.com/join > > > ><> > >All paths go somewhere. I am so sorry this whole situation has caused you to feel a need to have to defend yourself. I think you've made your case well and do not feel you have to submit any proof. I don't know why your site was put on here by Bob. Possibly he is the one with the fear of death, lacks the sense of humor regarding death, and won't speak honestly to you about why he submitted your site to our list. :-) As humans, we do dumb things. We see a cool or odd site and naturally want to share it. Thank you for telling us your story, which makes your site all the more interesting to me. You've embraced this whole death process beautifully, especially shown through your strange and wonderful website that is obviously benefiting some good causes. Makes me want to order a toe ring, and probably will! Wishing you much success with beating this damn cancer, and with your business. Guest guest
The first time I read that as; "Your cancer is a friend, why pretend otherwise." which seems like an interesting idea. In that perhaps it is helping you come to grips with mortality. I wouldn't take the fraud thing too seriously, I see it as an assertive speculative statement made as a way of finding out where you're coming from. Quite effective actually. andrew Toni Riss wrote: > > , "msprozac" <triss@w...> wrote: > > > Why is my website so funny to you that you are posting it in all > sorts of email groups? > I have cancer and I have a right to have a website that deals in > death.
