Guest guest
Shiva sutra shlokam: The body smeared with ash, moon on the head, ornated by ganga, snakes, axe and deer, Pure, sitting comfortably in virasanam, with the left palm over the right, in the posture of a yogi, wearing the skin of a tiger, burning the cupid with the fire emerging from the eye in the forehead, to You salutations. Om Namah Shivaya! Cold Mountain is a house Without beams or walls. The six doors left and right are open The hall is blue sky. The rooms all vacant and vague The east wall beats on the west wall At the center nothing. ~Han Shan Om Namah Buddhavaya! And whose glad ashes are these tonightSifting through the wan moonlight,Grazing by the sunyata stationIn the ghostly cave of this Dream creation?Whoever claims It's a dream –Beware.Whoever claimsIt is not –Compare:A blink of the eye Is all. ~b Om Namah ShivAllah! Shiva Sutra shlokam: With the hands in abhaya (protecting) and varada (boon giving) postures, with a pleasing and decorated expression, a blossomed face and eye, with the shadow created by moon on the crown, with an upright body, and feet in the same level, Coral like formed, holding the deer and axe, (He) stays in the lotus pedestal. (of my heart) Om Namah Shivaya! The solitary moon shines on the cold spring. Here in the spring there is no moon. It is high in the sky.Though I'm humming this song,in the song there is no Ch'an. ~Han Shan Om Namah Buddhavaya! Like a baby content at mother's breastI rest in the arms of Cold Mountain.Pressing my ear to that great chestI hear the swirling music of my own bodyechoing through the caverns of a heartthat hums the universe. This music is the source of the world, andyet within its refrain the silent song ofitself has tuned to a subtler, timelesschord beyond the play of energy'slyrical themes in form.~b Om Namah ShivAllah! Shiva Sutra shlokam: Smeared in red (blood), a full-moon face, with the deer, and the bow to the left (in His hand), in the right hand an arrow and axe, wearing ganga and crescent moon, always worshipped by vishnu and brahma, burnt the three cities by His smile, to that God of three worlds, the enemy of pura (purari), pray. Om Namah Shivaya! Where the shadow of a single tumbleweed trembles and the voice of the great trees clings forever, I sigh over all these common bones -- No roll of the immortals bears their names. ~Han Shan Om Namah Buddhavaya! The more we search for the Water Goddess in liquid currents of the Heavenly Sound, the more She will gaily elude us,slipping away on the rippling melodieswe make in the motion of our pursuit. ~b Om Namah ShivAllah! Shiva Sutra shlokam: In the form of male and female, matted hair with moon, axe, smeared in red (aruna), wearing snakes and the skin of tiger, embracing the bull and with a bent leg, this the right half, and the left black in color, hand holding a (lily) flower close to the chest, with a silk like lotus foot, wearing gold ornaments, salutations to the Half female God. Om Namah Shivaya! Have I a body or have I none?Am I who I am or am I not?Pondering these questions,I sit leaning against the cliff as the years go by,Till the green grass grows between my feetAnd the red dust settles on my head,And the men of the world, thinking me dead,Come with offerings of wine and fruit to lay by my corpse. ~Han Shan Om Namah Buddhavaya! Those who see say little,Content with all creation,But since I'm speaking with Nobody, I might as well Enjoy the conversation! Imagination is a kind ofSeeing – fun, yes --So fascinating at the start,So brief its time to shine,So pale toSeeing, deeply, theSource of its design. ~b Om Namah ShivAllah! Shiva Sutra shlokam: Body black in color, two shoulders holding bows and arrows, hair falling on the forehead, posing comfortably, with two piercing eyes, blossomed nice face, with feathers and fragrant flowers on his head, wearing the skin of tiger, Terrific, I meditate that Hunter (kirata), the thief (hara). Om Namah Shivaya! Thirty years ago I was born into the world.A thousand, ten thousand miles I've roamed,By rivers where the green grass lies thick,Beyond the border where the red sands fly.I brewed potions in a vain search for life everlasting,I read books, I sang songs of history,And today I've come home to Cold MountainTo pillow my head on the stream and wash my ears. ~Han Shan Om Namah Buddhavaya! Even now,Though the past isWhat you are Least expecting,Maybe we actually areConnecting, asSomebody nobodyLong well gonePoints to Cold MountainExhaling:"Walk on!" ~b Om Namah ShivAllah! Shiva Sutra shlokam: Meditate the form which is (shining) like crores (millions) of suns (kotiravipram), Three eyed, wearing the cool ganga, in the hand with axe, deer, protection posture, the Great with only one leg, to the right and left shoulders of Lord shambhu brahma, and vishnu present with their ideal arms surrounding Him, to Him, salutations with folded hands.
