It shows the Buddha sitting silently at peace and he is surrounded by scary-looking demons and worldly temptations. "These are all the bad thoughts," I told her, pointing. "See how they turn into beautiful flowers when they come close to the man?" "He is not looking at them," she observed. Exactly. Later, Ananda, full of smiles asked, "Mommy, will you try to be not angry forever?" "YES!" I laughed loudly and gave her a high five. "Will you?" I asked. "Yes!" she cheered, "Just like the Buddha!"
