Guest guest
NightSky I look into the nightsky My eyes see A poem so lovely A naked tree I look up and wonder Why? Earlier this night I did not see A poem so lovely A praying tree Maybe it was Because the shining stars the glowing moon The mystic rainbow Encircling the moon captured me, Enraptured me in claire de lune Waves of light bending, turning Icy crystals burning A misty halo around the moon Chasing the veil of clouds away in claire de lune Now, I see the naked tree Leaves are falling Cold, dark Winter is calling Now, I see the praying tree Stark against the milky sky So satin white in the night Filtered shadowy light Filigree so delicate Branches so intricate A multitude of lacy fingers Reaching high Seeking Mother Earth, the sky... Shadows now, the stars, the moon Veiled behind the mystic cloud cover Stars still twinkle, sparkle, dance Behind the naked tree I just can't see Blessed Be.
