Guest guest
May the hearts of all living beings expand to see that we are One Heart.Lots of love ~Harsha Birds in the sky and fish in waterDart and leave no track behind. And none can trace the path by which The sages journeyed to the Self.~Sri Murugunar Liberation is our very nature. We are that. The very fact that we wish for liberation shows that freedom from all bondage is our real nature. It is not to be freshly acquired. All that is necessary is to get rid of the false notion that we are bound. When we achieve that, there will be no desire or thought of any sort. So long as one desires liberation, so long, you may take it, one is in bondage.~Sri Ramana Maharshi Observe the eight precepts -- recognizing them as nothing but eight falling leaves in an endless forest of softly falling leaves: 1. Refrain from killing living creatures -- remembering that, with each breath, billions of micro-organisms spontaneously perish, regardless of which ones you happen to cherish. 2. Taking what is not given -- realizing that true wealth is measured by what you no longer need. 3. Unchaste conduct -- realizing that chastity or the lack thereof are fictional, conceptual attributes superimposed by the conditioned mind on that which is without condition. 4. False speech -- realizing that nothing can be said. 5. Avoid intoxicants -- such as belief in an independent self. 6. Eating outside the time -- no longer compelled to flee into transcendence for the meal that is always right before you. 7. No entertainments, beautifying -- recognizing the supreme Attractiveness of one's own Inherent Nature. 8. Simple sleeping-place -- Resting in the OneHeart. ~Buddha & b I wearied myself searching for the Friendwith efforts beyond my strength.I came to the door and saw howpowerfullly the locks were bolted. And the longing in me became that strong, and then I saw that I was gazingfrom within the presence. With that waiting, and in giving up all trying, only then did Lalla flow outfrom where I knelt.~Lalla Discover all you are not. Body, feelings, thoughts, ideas, time, space, being and not-being, this or that - nothing concreteor abstract you can point out to is you. A mere verbal statementwill not do - you may repeat a formula endlessly without any resultwhatsoever. You must watch yourself continuously - particularlyyour mind - moment by moment, missing nothing.
