Guest guest
My guru thought me a very important question this morning. It is one I can ask not only others who may come to me for a particular reason, but also one I can ask my self in the morning. "Why are you here?" He then went on to say that if there's an answer, there's something that needs to be looked after, because there is no answer other than existence. ~Maralena

If we are here for just existence, then why the vijnanamayakosa? Why the Buddha, Jesus, Krishna, Rama etc etc? It depends on whether one is talking relatively or not. The only thing I can say is that 'existence's' meaning has been stretched by your guru, or not stretched. If existence means Saguna Brahman then he is talking about the road to Moksha. He is using it as a replacement term for The Self. If not then I would suggest clarification or get a new guru.......Om Sakti...Saktidass. Guest guest
Greetings Saktidass, Well said, and I'd like to add the following from one of those side streets... Let's see.. "Why am I here?" An answer which needs work OR existence is the answer. An interesting "two", is it not? One must be careful of Guru Games. If one doesn't see the duality and get beyond it one is still in illusion and in the game of dependency. One answer beyond the duality is simply...Why not? Nature never asks that question, nor does it need to answer the question. Such a question and the answer offered can only be "worked" in the relative by a "self" or it is meaningless.
